Douglas Powell

Douglas Powell, age 77, of East Dublin passed away on November 22, 2020.

Graveside services will be held for Mr. Powell graveside at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The service will be on November 22, 2020 beginning at 2:00 PM. Mr. Frankie Mathis will officiate.

Mr. Powell was born to the late Ronald and Linda Brooks Powell in Mt. Vernon. He attended Bethlehem Baptist Church. He retired as a mechanic for J.P. Stevens. He was an avid gardener and raising birds. He enjoyed watching football, playing the lottery and was a dedicated Nascar fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Linda Powell and his brother, Gene Powell.

Mr. Powell is survived by his wife of 50 years Betty McCord Powell. Several Nieces and nephews also survive.
