Elizabeth Minter Mullis

Elizabeth Minter (Sister) Mullis, age 82, of Dexter, GA, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at Buckhorn United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the service hour at the cemetery. Rev. Jerod Middleton and Mr. Dennis Waldrep will officiate.

Mrs. Mullis was born on October 8, 1938, in Laurens County to the late Jack and Johnnie Darsey Minter. She was a member of Buckhorn United Methodist Church in Dudley. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Monroe Mullis, and brother, Ronald Jackson Minter (Joyce).

She is survived by her sons, Jackie Monroe Mullis (Judy), of Dexter, Tony Ray Mullis (Penny), of Montrose, and Danny Lee Mullis (Barbra), of Eastman; grandchildren, Chris Rowland, of Eastman, Terri Joe Mullis (Jerry Allen), of Chester; Elizabeth Donielle Gay (Brandon), of East Dublin, Brittany Rae Sanders (Jamey), of Dublin, Ashley Brooke Warnock (Dylan), of East Dublin, Dymond Thigpen Mullis, of Montrose; 10 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers-in-law, of Chester, 2 sisters-in-law, of Chester, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews.
