Ellen (Baggett) Fountain

Ellen Baggett Fountain, age 76, of Rentz, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 13, 2021.

Mrs. Fountain was born in Laurens County on February 15, 1945, to the late Rufus and Mary Baggett. She was a lifelong member of Baker Baptist Church and was owner and operator of Video Fountain in Rentz. She also worked at the Laurens County Tax Commissioners Office before retirement. She loved spending time with her family and was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Glenn Fountain; and brothers, Hugh Baggett and Jack Baggett.

Survivors include her sons, Mitchell Glenn Fountain (Janelle), of Jacksonville, FL, Tim Fountain (Kerrie), of Dudley, and Chris Fountain (Christy), of Rentz; daughter, Cindy Allen (Chris), of Rentz; grandchildren, Melissa Fountain, Michael Fountain, Tyler Fountain, Taylor Cravey, Justin Cravey, Krystal Bozeman, Heather Fountain, Alison Ward, Coby Fountain, Danee Brooks, Ellie White, Christopher Allen, and Noah Allen, and numerous great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, in Rentz. Rev. David Rowe will officiate.
