Ellen Rawlins Watson, born March 25th, 1938, passed away on December 19th, 2025.
Graveside services will be held at Poplar Springs Methodist Church Cemetery in Adrian, Ga., at 11:00 AM on December 27, 2025. Rev. Mark Harden will officiate.
Mrs. Watson, a native of McRae, Ga., was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Jo Lee Caldwell Rawlins. She was a member of Poplar Springs Methodist Church. Ellen lived in Dacula and Buford, Ga., the last several years to be near family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edsel Watson. She was also preceded in death by 12 siblings; eight sisters, and three brothers.
She was a passionate landscaping enthusiast and a hardworking business owner, proudly operating her own house cleaning business in the Stone Mountain area. A faithful servant of the Lord, she lived her life guided by her deep Christian faith. She was a devoted member of Dacula United Methodist Church and remained closely connected to her home church, Poplar Springs Methodist Church in Adrian, Georgia.
Survivors include Suzanne Watson Bryant of Buford, Ga, and Alpha Jeanell Watson of Dublin, Ga; grandchildren Watson Bryant, Mabrey Anne Salim, Nicholas Salim, and many nieces and nephews.
