Eloise E. Hester, aged 94, a resident of Hephzibah, Georgia, gracefully passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024. Born in Dublin, Georgia, to the late John and Willie Lee Ellington, Eloise exemplified a life of steadfast devotion and selflessness. Guided by her unwavering faith, Eloise found solace in religious dedication. Her profound journey was marked by a commitment to caring for her daughter, Sharon, who bravely faced the challenges of Cerebral Palsy. Eloise's boundless love and tireless care created a nurturing environment that enriched Sharon's life.
Survived by her daughter, Barbara Behrendt, and her husband, Bob, of Welaka, Florida, Eloise leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever resonate within her family. She is also mourned by her sisters, Grace McEachern of Dublin, Georgia, and Sue Weaver of Dublin, Georgia, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Per her wishes, Eloise will be laid to rest in Dublin, Georgia. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Dublin Memorial Gardens. The family requests no flowers.
Her memory will be cherished by all who were touched by her warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to family. Eloise's life serves as an enduring inspiration and her legacy lives on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have shared in her journey.
