Mrs. Enid Tanner Beall, age 89 of Dublin, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro, Georgia.
Mrs. Beall was born in Long Pond, GA, and was the daughter of the late Fred O. Tanner and the late Mable Coleman Tanner. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Dublin, where she was a member of the Winsome Sunday School class and enjoyed traveling with the Friendship Group. Her ministry to others included delivering homegrown zinnias to friends and shut-ins. Enid was retired from the City of Dublin after over 29 years of service. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Beall was also preceded in death by her husband, James Earl Beall, and her brothers, Don Tanner and Harold Tanner.
Survivors include her daughters, Cheri (James) Hawkins of Dublin, and Dana (Mark) Evans of Statesboro, grandchildren, Erin (Justin) Franks of Jesup, Trey (Amanda) Hawkins, of Douglasville, Sarah Evans of Xenia, OH, great-grandchildren, Blair and Lena Franks, sister, Fay Tanner of Dublin, a special cousin, Jacquita Finn of Lake Sinclair, in addition to several nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family graveside service for Mrs. Beall. A celebration of life service will be held in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 11:00 AM with a visitation to follow. Dr. G. Lamar Holley will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church (405 Bellevue Avenue, Dublin, Georgia 31021) or Ogeechee Area Hospice (P.O. Box 531, Statesboro, Georgia 30459).
