Eva Sue Lann Taylor, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, in Dublin, Georgia, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 27, 1958, in Lubbock, Texas, Eva was the cherished daughter of the late George Lenwood Lann and Mary Jo Tribble Lann. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, the late Bobby and James Lann.
Her family expanded to include her devoted husband of 50 years, Thomas Taylor, and their loving daughters, Tiffany Wyatt (married to Lee) and Stephanie Harrison (married to Nick). Eva's joy was multiplied with the arrival of her grandchildren, Ryan Jones, Lauren Jones, Chandler Harrison, Ella Wyatt, Maddison Harrison, and Taylor Wyatt, who will carry her legacy forward.
She is also survived by her brothers, George Lann (Pat), Gary Lann (Kaye), and Chris Lann, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Eva dedicated 42 years of service to Husqvarna in McRae, where she not only excelled in her work but also formed lasting friendships and connections. Her commitment to her career was paralleled only by her involvement in her beloved Bethsaida Baptist Church, where she was a beacon of faith and fellowship.
Her interests were as varied as they were heartfelt. Eva found joy in crafts and shopping, but nothing compared to the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. Eva's kitchen was the heart of her home, where she cooked not just meals but memories that would nourish her family for years to come.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 16th, in the Mary Whitaker Townsend Memorial Chapel at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bethsaida Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Darren Talley will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service hour on Sunday at the funeral home.
Ryan Jones, Chandler Harrison, Nick Harrison, Lee Wyatt, George Lann, and Bruce Daniels will serve as pallbearers.
