Faye Coleman

Faye Sheppard Coleman, age 87, of East Dublin, passed away on May 15, 2021.

Mrs. Coleman was born in Toombs County September 15, 1933, and lived much of her life in Treutlen and Laurens Counties.  She was formerly employed by Dixie Bearing.  Mrs. Coleman was of the Baptist faith, and prior to her decline was an active member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church.  She was an expert seamstress and enjoyed working with her many plants and flowers as well as cooking.

Mrs. Coleman was preceded in death by husband, Jimmy Coleman; husband, Randolph Wood; father, Thomas Daniel Shepherd; mother, Hattie Kersey Shepherd; sisters, Madie Smith, Merle Holton, Betty Duffie, Mildred Shepherd, Mattie Kate Shepherd, and Doris Shepherd; and brother, Ezra Darvin Shepherd.

Survivors include sisters, Hilda (Bobby) Hackle of Dublin, Elaine (Lonnie) Sheffield of Rentz, and brother, Edison (Emmeline) Shepherd of Rockledge.  Mrs. Coleman is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

 Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Westview Cemetery, Soperton, GA.
