Faye W Johns

Faye W. Johns, affectionately known as Pee Wee, age 84, of East Dublin, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024.

Mrs. Johns was born in Laurens County on August 26, 1939, to the late Cecil and Lillie Pearl Parrish Williams. She was a member of Pine Grove Assembly of God and retired from the Laurens County Board of Education where she worked as a bus monitor for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Arthur Johns; son, Jeffrey Johns; brothers, Bertis Williams, Albert Williams, and Charles Williams, and sister, Eudell Hester.

She is survived by a daughter, Caroll Lynn Beacham (Pat) of East Dublin; sister, Kay Brown (Ronald) of Dublin; soul sister, Maggie; step-daughter, Jackie Stoddard of Cadwell; grandchildren, Bryan Heith Raffield (Maci), Lowell Matthew (Michelle) Beacham, and Ronnie Stoddard, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

 Service will be held on Monday, May 14, 2024 at 2pm in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1pm until service time.

Pee Wee’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
