Fostine Evans

Graveside services for Fostine Evans, age 95, of Rentz, will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at the Gay Family Cemetery.  Rev. Joey Diers will officiate.  Mrs. Evans died Tuesday, November 5, 2019.

Mrs. Evans was a member of Baker Baptist Church. She enjoyed helping people and often giving rides to people needing transportation.  Mrs. Evans enjoyed cooking and preparing food for large gatherings, flower gardening, and shopping, especially at yard sales.  She loved caring for children, and had a special love for her grandchildren.  Mrs. Evans was loved by many people.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Algerine Evans; parents, Harvey and Essie Mae Diers Warren; grandson, Jason Evans; five brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors include her sons, Billy (Sondra) Evans, Darrell (Donna) Evans, David (Jean) Evans, all of Rentz; six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; one great- great grandchild; three sisters; one brother; and several nieces and nephews.
