Fred Daniel Aldrich

Mr. Fred Daniel Aldrich, age 91, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025.

Mr. Aldrich was born September 12, 1933 in Doland, South Dakota; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Ira Aldrich and Dorothy Coopersmith Aldrich; his wife, Donna Ball Aldrich; a grandson, Austin Hart and three siblings, Phyllis Salyer, Odell “Buzz” Aldrich and Gerald “Jed” Aldrich.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Cargill as a manager. He was also formerly employed at Kennedy Space Center, Boeing and Eglin Air Force Base. He was a pilot and he enjoyed golf, woodworking, softball and hunting.

He is survived by his children, Daniel (Karin) Aldrich, Deborah True and Dawn (Eddie) Adams; six grandchildren, Jessica Aldrich, Miranda (Gerad) Mathis, David (Jessica) True, Melonie True, Christina (Eric) Lusk and Edward Hawkes; a brother, Orrin Aldrich; two sisters, Mary Ellen Matthews and Patricia Siefken and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at the funeral home.
