Frederick Raymond Alexander was born on July 22, 1939, and passed away on February 20, 2024, in Dublin, GA at his home. He was preceded in death by parents, Ray and Bernice; son, Steven; granddaughter, Rebecca; and his former wives, Leah Swanson Alexander and Shirley Annable Alexander.
He is survived by his wife, Daphine (Register); children: Lori Kieffer, and Scott (Donna) Alexander; daughter-in-law, Carol Richards; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two bonus sons: Gregory (Jamie) Branum, and Jeffrey (Paris) Branum; four bonus grandkids; one bonus great-grandson; sisters: Brenda Jilg (Ralph), and Betty Hinkle (Dennis), and many nephews and nieces and other loving family members.
Fred was a long-time member and former governor of the Dublin Moose Lodge 1609; he had been a member of the Mason Red Hill Lodge #533 in Dublin. He is a member of the United Methodist Church in Silver Creek, NE. Fred worked for Grosch Irrigation for approximately 45 years.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mr. Ralph Jilg will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the service hour on Monday at the funeral home.
The family will receive friends and guests at 233 Veal Lane, Dublin, GA.
A memorial service will also be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Silver Creek United Methodist Church in Silver Creek, Nebraska.
