Gary Mayes Starley

Gary Mayes Starley, age 59, of Dublin, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018.

Mr. Starley worked for Little Ocmulgee EMC for more than 20 years. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, wood working and football season.  Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Prentice and Doris Starley and brother, Buddy Starley.

Survivors include his son, Matt Starley (Becca), of Dublin; daughter, Kellie Hamrick (Chris), of Dublin; sister, Judy Shipe, of Dublin; nieces, Kimberly Kennedy (Tim) and Tracy Shipe, both of Dublin; girlfriend, Tonya Hickman, of Soperton; granddaughter, Paisley Hamrick, of Dublin, and several cousins.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, August 30, 2018 in Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Northview Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Hutto will officiate. 

Pallbearers will be Justin Starley, Jimmy Starley, Scott Hightower, David Register, Chris Hamrick and Tim Outlaw.
