Gloria Ann (Moorman) Branch

Gloria Ann Moorman Branch, age 84, of Dublin, GA, passed away on February 9, 2025.

Mrs. Branch was born in Laurens County on September 7, 1940, to the late William Curtis and Ora Mae Stewart Moorman. Gloria was a proud graduate of East Laurens High School, where she formed lifelong friendships. Her professional journey was marked by dedication and hard work, as she retired from Forstmann & Co. There, she was an integral part of the team, processing payroll for the entire plant with precision and care. Gloria was also gifted with a green thumb and found joy in gardening in her spare time.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Branch; son, Stephen Wayne Hester; brother, Kenneth Moorman, and sister, Trelaine Cook.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Hester; son, Jason Hester (Ginger); brother, Curtis Moorman (Laurine); grandson, Stephen Jason Hester; granddaughter, Corinne Hester, and several loved nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in the Mary Whitaker Townsend Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Northview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the service hour at the funeral home.
