Grace Williamson

Grace A. Warren Williamson, age 89, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024 at her home following an extended illness.

Grace was born October 15, 1935 in Dublin, Georgia; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late John McKinley Warren and Mattie Lou Knight Warren and two brothers, J.M. Warren, Jr. and Howard Warren. She was a member of Dexter Baptist Church and was retired after many years of service as a Registered Dietician for Veterans Affairs.

Grace enjoyed her flowers and making floral arrangements. She also enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. Her greatest joys in life came from spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, James (Liz) Williamson of Florida, Don (Michele) Williamson of Dublin, John David (Mary Beth) Williamson of Cumming; her grandchildren, Elisabeth (Jonathan) Akly, Anna (Connor) Jackson, Abigail Williamson, Blake (Elizabeth) Williamson, Logan (Kaitlyn) Williamson, and Elijah Williamson; four great-grandchildren, Gamble Williamson, Ila Kait Williamson, Gray Akly and Ava Akly and several nieces and nephews.

 Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, October 28, 2024 at Dublin Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jeremiah Sluss officiating.
