Gregory Harrelson

Gregory Harrelson, age 65, of Dublin, passed away peacefully at his daughters residence on Friday, April 16, 2021.

Mr. Harrelson was born in Dublin to the late Mr. Eugene Harrelson and Mrs. Francis Harrelson. He attended Dublin High School and was of the graduating class of 1974. He played baseball and football for the Fighting Irish and once held the Dublin High School batting average and on base percentage records for the school. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Clint Harrelson. He loved his family and friends and always had a smile on his face.

He is survived by his wife, Trena Harrelson of Dublin, daughter, Paris Harrelson of Atlanta, son Dustin Harrelson of Dublin, daughter, Jessica Schneller of Auburn, AL, son Terry Manus of Dexter, sister, Gilda Bisbee of Ft. Myers, FL. Five grandchildren also survive.

Services for Mr. Harrelson will be held at Union Springs Baptist Church; 3577 Scotland Road, Alamo, GA on Saturday, April 24, 2021 beginning at 4:00 PM.  Dwayne Dunn will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the service hour at the Harrelson’s residence.
