Homer "Buddy" Jackson Edge Jr.

Homer “Buddy” Jackson Edge Jr., (60) was born, May 11th 1958 to Josephine Stinson Lake and Homer Edge Sr. in McRae, Georgia. He left this earth to be with the lord on September 30, 2018.  A lifelong resident of Dublin, Georgia, he is survived by his wife of 19 years, Carolyn Mays, two sisters, Joann Lawton (Tom) of Caddo Mills, TX and Susan Lake (Greg Root) of Tampa, FL, one brother, Enoch Lake, (Tonya) of Dublin and a nephew, (Jeremy Orosco) of Dallas Texas. He is preceded in death by his mother and father and niece Kaci Leann Orosco of Plano, Texas.

Homer’s accomplishments include graduating in 1996 from Heart of Georgia Vo-Tech and being a lifelong follower of Jesus. He was an inspiration in always looking at the positive through numerous health challenges and taught compassion to those who knew him. His sense of humor was the cornerstone of his personality. A graveside service will be held on October 3rd at White Springs Baptist Church Cemetery at 11 am. Townsend Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
