Ida Mae Mason

Ida Mae Mason, age 97, of East Dublin, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020.

Mrs. Mason was born on December 20, 1922, in Johnson County to the late Tom and Maebell Conaway Mason. She retired from Buckeye Industries where she worked as a seamstress. Mrs. Mason was a member of Mt. Olive Church of the Nazarene. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Eldred Mason; granddaughter, Sheree Upshaw; brothers, Lamar Mason, Wilmer Mason, and Tillman Mason, and sisters, Easter Mitchum, Joyce Spivey, Zora Mason, and Lena Mason.

 Survivors include her daughter, Dianne Corbett, of East Dublin; granddaughter, Brittany Poole, of Dublin; grandson, Brent Allen, of Kite; great-grandchild, Ryleigh Oliver, of Dublin; sisters, Alice Scoggins (Sammy), of Macon, and Nellie Beacham, of East Dublin, and several nieces and nephew.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 30, 2020, at Mt. Olive Church of the Nazarene. Chaplain Rick Tooley will officiate. The family will receive friends at the gravesite one hour prior to the service.
