Funeral services for Mr. Ivey Wilburn Woodard, age 82, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 29, 2024 at the Mary Whitaker Townsend Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens with Rev. Robert Rogers and Rev. Wes Moye officiating.
Mr. Woodard was born October 22, 1942 in Laurens County; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Perry Wilburn Woodard and Pauline O’Neal Woodard; a son, Michael “Mike” Woodard and a great-grandson, Hayes Michael Woodard. He was a graduate of Dudley High School and for over 20 years, he was the owner/operator of Woodard Tower Company. He was a very dedicated member of Oconee Baptist Church where he served as Chairman of Deacons. Mr. Woodard passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra C. Woodard; a son, Greg (Michele) Woodard; step-daughter, Brandi Rowland; grandchildren, Dusty Woodard, Tyler (Delight) Woodard and Cody (Miranda) Woodard; great-grandchildren, Lawson Woodard, Tres Butts, Jagger Butts, Arlee Woodard and Cullen Woodard; sisters, Elaine (Harry) Hansen, Judy (Frank) Brooks and Diane (Windal) Wickizer; sister-in-law, Ginger Johnson and two brothers-in-law, Larry (Phyllis) Sanders and Waymon (Jennie) Cannon.
Pallbearers will be Dusty Woodard, Tyler Woodard, Cody Woodard, Jamie Brock, Randy Wilkins and Jeff Soles.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service Friday, November 29, 2024.
