J.L. Clark, age 76, of East Dublin, passed away, Monday, November 2, 2020.
Mr. Clark was born in Laurens County and was the son of the late Eugene Brown and Donie Clark. He retired from J.P. Stevens. J.L. was an avid Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldog fan who also loved to fish. He loved to talk about the good ole’ times and tell jokes. He was a member of the Lighthouse Church of God and loved spending time with his family and his church family.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Clark was preceded in death by brothers, Rogers Clark, Theo Clark, Earl Clark, Hollis Clark, and Elmer Clark; and sisters, Valda Brown and Ida Lee Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Faircloth Clark, of East Dublin; children, Jake Clark (Rachel), of Wrightsville, and Loretta Rentz, Walter Frost, and Jackie Hartley (Wesley), all of East Dublin; 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Frank Brown (Genelle), Delacy Clark (Lynda), H.A. Brown, Lennis Stevens (Kenny), Billy Clark, Henry Clark, and Lewis Clark (Ludy), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 5, 2020, at Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene Cemetery. Rev. Scotty Herndon and Rev. Monty Lasseter will officiate. The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 10:30 AM until the service hour.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Clark, Brandon Clark, Joshua Rentz, James Wilson, Allen Wilson, and Eric Clark.
