Jan S. Edwards

Jan S. Edwards, age 64, of Dublin passed away at home, Friday, April 24, 2020.  She was a member of Pine Forest United Methodist Church and a graduate of Dublin High School, Class of 74.  After graduating, Jan went to work at Farmers and Merchants Bank until she had her first child and then became a stay at home mom. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother ”JaJa”.  Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Alton Stanley and Iris Thompson Stanley, and a grandson, Curtis Mark Owens.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Robert Edwards; children, Hannah (Brian) Owens, Katy (Nathan) Morton, and Ben Edwards; grandchildren, Sawyer Morton and Lily Morton, all of Dublin, and a sister, Linda Warner, of Austin, TX.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to The Lydia Project, 1369 Interstate Parkway, Augusta, GA  30909-5626

Due to the Covid-19 guidelines, there will be a private family graveside service, Sunday at 2:00 PM. The service will be live streamed on Townsend Brothers Funeral Home Facebook page and will also be available later on Townsend Brothers Funeral Home website and YouTube channel.
