Janace Williamson Jackson, age 80, of Dublin, passed away at her home Wednesday, December 29, 2021. A funeral service will be held for Mrs. Jackson, 11:00 AM Friday, December 31, at First Baptist Church in Dublin. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Church. Burial will be in Preston City Cemetery, Preston, GA Friday at 3:00 PM.
David Holland, David Senn, Andy Thigpen, Claude Vines, Ben Bradshaw, Wallace Miller, Phillip Morris, Johnny Tarpley and Kenneth Allen will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
Born in Oak Park, Janace was the daughter of the late Floyd Williamson and the late Ollie W. Hardee. She was a very active member of First Baptist Church, teaching Sunday School, serving as treasurer of her Sunday School Class, former Church Clerk and was active in many Civic Organizations. She retired from Farmers and Merchants Bank as an assistant vice president after 32 years of service.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jackson was also preceded in death by her siblings, Randall Williamson, Sandra Williamson, and Joan W. Wehner.
Survivors include her husband, Edward Alton Jackson of Dublin, daughter, Lori J. (Andy) Payne of Weston, grandchildren Olivia Nicole Payne and Sydney Kelley Payne of Weston, brother, Loran (Pam) Williamson of Twin City, several nieces, and nephews.
