Jean Martin Turner

Jean Martin Turner, age 82, of Dublin, passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021.

Mrs. Turner was born on November 15, 1938, in Laurens County to the late Willard “Buddy” Shepard and the late Gladys Register Shepard. She was a homemaker and retired from Rockwell Automation. Mrs. Turner was a member of Blackville Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Vickie Caneega, and Phyllis Popovich Proctor

Survivors include her husband, Ephraim Lewis Turner, Sr. of Dublin; sons, Ronnie Martin (Rose), and  Lewis Turner (Teresa), both of Dublin; daughter, Susan Morris, of Swainsboro; granddaughters,  Deidra Jackson, and Dawn Helms, both of Dublin; great-grandchildren, Nick Jackson, Ryan Jackson, Emily Helms, and Justin Helms; brother, Tommy Shepard (Debra), of Dublin, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Barry Peavy will officiate.
