Jim Raymond Crawford

Jim Raymond Crawford, 88 of Dublin, Georgia passed away July 8, 2025 after a brief illness. He was born in Geneva, Alabama on April 17, 1937 to the late Horace Crawford and Annie Grant Crawford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Thomas H. Crawford, William Roy Crawford, Laura Crawford Grounsell and Gloria June Crawford. He is survived by sisters Ellen Crawford McElroy, Janice Crawford Boehl, Marcia Crawford Williams (John) and Rita Crawford Belcher, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Jim was a 1955 Graduate of Geneva High School. He earned a post-graduate degree in chemistry from the University of Alabama and also attended the University of Tennessee College of Medicine for one year. He was a US Army Veteran and was employed by the Food and Drug Administration. He spent most of his adult life in Forest Park, Georgia.

The family held a memorial service on Saturday, July 12, 2024.
