Jimmy Randall Coleman, Sr., age 81, of Dublin, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.
Mr. Coleman was a native of Laurens County and was born on October 28, 1942, to the late John Andy Coleman and the late Trudie Stuckey Coleman. Before retirement, Jimmy was the owner and operator of Top Chemical Co. alongside wife, Gail. He was an ordained Baptist deacon and served as Director of RA’s for over 16 years at Jefferson Street Baptist. He was a current member of Olivet Baptist Church.
Jimmy enjoyed many pastimes throughout his life such as reading, farming, and riding his tractor, but one of his greatest joys was found in cheering on his children and grandchildren at various sporting events. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather who will be deeply missed.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Survivors include his wife, Gail Dominy Coleman; sons, Randall (Mary Leigh) Coleman, and Charles (Debbie) Coleman; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Tyler) Green, Andy Coleman, Matt Coleman, David Coleman, and Jim Coleman; great-grandchildren, Maisie, Lorelai, and Bo, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 10th from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
A funeral service celebrating Mr. Coleman’s life will follow at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Rev. Max Rogers will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Matt Coleman, Andy Coleman, Tyler Green, David Coleman, Jim Coleman, and Ralph Hall.
