John “Johnny” Enoch Fulghum, Jr., age 66, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.
Mr. Fulghum was born in Dublin to the late John Enoch Fulghum, Sr. and the late Angelo Scott Fulghum on December 24, 1956. He was a retired welder from Dublin Construction. He loved riding horses, riding his ranger, and being outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Fulghum of East Dublin; children, Nolan (Kaitlyn) Fulghum of East Dublin, Jonathan (Leslie) Fulghum of East Dublin, Nicholas (Ai) Johns of Mountain Home, Idaho, Anthony Johns of East Dublin, Samantha Johns of East Dublin, Sherry Westfall, and Rena Fulghum; grandchildren, Hartley Fulghum, Wyatt Fulghum, Sarah Ledbetter, Lane Fulghum, Hiroto Johns, Kokoro Johns, Yuzuho Johns, Rhett Johns, Myleigh Hayes, Elainna White, Cayden White, Gracie Fulghum, Lexie Wynn, Brody Fulghum, Zack Alligood, Dallas Alligood, and Kenzie Alligood; sister, Judy (Derell) Thigpen of East Dublin; brothers, Dale (Tonya) Fulghum of East Dublin and Jody (Todd) Hinson of Elijay; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 31, 2023 at 6:00 PM in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home with interment to follow at Fulghum Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Ashley Fulghum, Tommy Wilkes, and Derell Thigpen will officiate. The family requests everyone to wear western-style shirts and blue jeans in honor of Johnny.
Chan Thigpen, Mitchell Fulghum, Jason Fulghum, Sean Fulghum, Craig Martin, Byron Fulghum, Steven Owens, and Wendell Thigpen will serve as pallbearers.
