Johnnie Ruth (Hall) McDaniel

Mrs. Johnnie Ruth Hall McDaniel, age 78, passed away on September 8, 2022.

Mrs. Johnnie was born on December 29, 1943, in Winder, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Bence Hall and the late Otene Bellflower. She was a 1962 graduate of Dublin High School. She was an active member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Rentz, Georgia. She retired from Mohawk Carpets. After retirement, she enjoyed working in the office of McDaniel Monuments with her sons.

Family meant the world to Mrs. Johnnie. She loved learning and had a passion to educate her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved the Lord and would always sing hymns of praise, study her Bible, and pray. Mrs. Johnnie loved cooking, gardening, quilting with her sister, and camping with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Otene Bellflower: father, Bence Hall; and her brother, Edwin Hall.

Survivors include her husband, Burton McDaniel; son, Adam McDaniel; daughter, Beth McDaniel McDonald (Murray); son, Dave McDaniel (Samantha); grandchildren: Emily Hulette (Kaleb), Madeline McDonald, Sophie McDonald, Jacob McDaniel, Vivian Dixon, Rose Dixon, Zoey Seymour, Keelee Seymour, and Alex Asa McDaniel; great-grandchildren: Kailin Hulette, Kale Hulette, and Patrick Hulette; sister, Linda Kight; brother, Jerry Hall (Rosemary); and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the service hour at the church. Rev. Calvin Halcomb will officiate.

Pallbearers include Barry McDaniel, Cobbie Williams, Kaleb Hulette, Alan McDaniel, Asa McDaniel, Richard McDaniel, Rodney McDaniel, and Jim Hall. Honorary Pallbearers are the Deacons of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
