Johnny Chris Self

Johnny Chris Self, age 53, of Dublin, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022.

Mr. Self was a native of Laurens County and was born on October 16, 1968, to the late William C. and Lolie Wilhite Self. He was a devoted Christian who loved serving others; especially his family. His family always praised him for taking such great care of his mother and never leaving her side. He was happy being at home, and his loving, kind, and friendly nature will be missed by all who loved him.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Self was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Self.

Survivors include his siblings: Milton Self, Joanie Self Wilkes (Sonny), Eddie Self, Ricky Self, and Eloise Perry; nephews, Howard Self, Randy Lindsey, Shaun Self, Dalton Perry, Chad Lindsey, Byron Wilkes, Jason Self, and Mark Self; nieces, Angela Self, Brandy Cox, and Tonya Parker, and loving girlfriend, Samantha Howell.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 PM in Northview Cemetery. Rev. Sonny Wilkes will officiate.
