Joyce (Hawkins) Renfroe

Joyce Hawkins Renfroe, age 78, of Dublin, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020.

Mrs. Renfroe was born in Laurens County and was the daughter of the late G.C. Hawkins and the late Alice “Peat” Grimsley Hawkins. She was owner and operator of Hawkins Cleaners for many years. Joy was an avid painter and enjoyed showing her artwork at local art exhibits.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Renfroe was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Renfroe.

Survivors include her son, Michael Renfroe (Julie), of Dublin; grandchildren, Josh Renfroe, and Lauren O'Neal (Joseph), both of Dublin; sister, Gail Dominy, of Dublin; nephew, Bruce Dominy (Paige), of Gainsville, GA, and niece, Lori Bruton (Jeff), of Dublin.

Services will be held at 3:00PM on Thursday, February 27, 2020 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Northview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2:00PM until funeral hour at the funeral home.
