Katherine Virginia (Thomas) Howard

Katherine Virginia Thomas Howard, age 78, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023.

Mrs. Howard was born in Louisville, GA to the late James Robert Thomas and the late Lucille Williams Thomas on August 12, 1944. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker who loved and cherished her family deeply. Her favorite pastime was seeing her family and friends. She was a light in all of our lives and she will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Howard Sr., and sister, Elizabeth Thomas.

Survivors include her children, Hubert M. Howard Jr. of East Dublin, daughter, Katherine L. Howard of Lyons, Christopher R. Howard of East Dublin, and James R.T. Howard Sr. of Dublin; son-in-law, Christopher J. Borrow of Lyons; daughter-in-law, Shelly A. Howard; sisters, Betty Lingold of Covington, Martha A. Watkins of Wrightsville, and Jimmy Etherige of Dublin; as well as fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home with a burial at Louisville City Cemetery at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
