Kathy Jo Barron Obituary

Kathy Jo Barron, age 64, of Dublin, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.

Kathy was a member of Charity Baptist Church and worked at Easter Seals until she could no longer work. She lived at the Heritage House and considered all of them an extension of her family.  Kathy loved God and her family deeply and will be missed by all who loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbon Kenny Barron and Annie Lois Foskey Barron; siblings, Kaye Barron, Judy Stevens, Ann Parker, Patsy Gilbert, and Kenny Barron.

Survivors include her daughter, Amanda Guthrie, of Glennville; son, Nicky Barron, of Macon; sisters, Joyce Allen (Doyle), of Chester, and Jackie Kight, of Rentz; brother, Ronnie Barron (Karen), of Dublin; sister-in-law, Cheryl Barron, of Dublin, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020, at 11:00 AM in the Northview Cemetery. Rev. Jim Fennell and Rev. Tim Powell will officiate.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 10, 2020, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the home of Cheryl Barron. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Charity Baptist Church.
