Mrs. Wilma Kay Smalley, age 80, of Dublin, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Fairview Park Hospital.
Mrs. Smalley was born December 29, 1943, in Dublin, Georgia; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late James Russell and Wilma Hall Russell, and her husband, Dr. Jimmie Smalley. She was a member of Pine Forest Methodist Church and was an avid pet lover. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she enjoyed participating in all of their activities.
She is survived by her son, Jim (Kathy) Smalley of Dublin; two daughters, Lori (Randy) Passmore of Dublin and Bonnie (Jim) Brown of Dublin; nine grandchildren, Kayla Green, Kyle Passmore, Gatlin Smalley, Karlie Smalley, Kellie Clements, Will Brown, Mollie Leverette, Ethan Brown, and Kaden Brown; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Lowell (Carol) Russell and three sisters, Mary Ann Purvis, Lynelle (Ed) Brown and Caroline (Billy) Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Pine Forest Methodist Church with Rev. Brett Maddocks officiating. Burial will follow at Northview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the church.
Pallbearers will be Will Brown, Ethan Brown, Kaden Brown, Kyle Passmore, Gatlin Smalley and Brandon Green.
