Kaye Williams Self, age 69, of East Dublin, GA, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021.
Mrs. Self was born in Laurens County on October 14, 1951, to the late Albert Williams and the late Ella Lee Garnto Tanton. She was retired after working in retail and real estate for many years. Kaye was a caregiver to many and a member of the Dublin Church of God. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Knight, and a sister, Sandra Lee Williams.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Wayne Self, of East Dublin; children, Alan Chandler Heath (Renee), of Tennille, Jason Bradford Heath (Lisa), of Spring Hill, FL, Alicia Kaye Heath, of East Dublin, and Christopher Shane Heath (Jessica), of Gray, GA; her fur baby, Roscoe; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Self will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 28, 2021, at Dublin Church of God with burial to follow at Snow Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Steve Hardeman and Pastor Doug Bridges will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the service hour at the church.
Pallbearers will be Spencer Heath, Phillip Kirby, Jason Venable, Stacy Knight, Campbell Walke, and Joe Whiting. Great-grandsons, Brantley Heath, Maverick Hoover, Adreyan Harasimowicz, Jace Kirby, Chandler Kirby, Seeley Kirby, Jordan Venable, and Jaxon Venable will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family requests all in attendance to please wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines.
