Kenneth Richard Scott

Kenneth Richard Scott, Sr., passed away on August 18, 2019.

Mr. Scott attended Dublin First Church of the Nazarene. He served in the 82^nd Air Borne Division from 1971 to 1973 during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army. After 39 years of working at West Rock (formerly Southeast Paper), Kenneth Scott retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herschel and Tommie Scott, and his daughter, Krystal Hood Curtis.

He was survived in life by his wife, Becki Scott, of East Dublin; children, Richard (Jada) Scott, of Rentz, Shannon (Jon) Spires, of Dublin, Dana (Blaine) Oxford, of East Dublin, and Thomy (Macey Dixon) Foskey, of East Dublin; sisters, Dianne (Butch) Scott Holmes, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Jean (Dale) Scott Edge, of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Daymon Hood, of Statesboro, Jacob Hood, of East Dublin, Derrick Hood, of East Dublin, Anzlie Curtis, of Dublin, Kailie Scott, of Rentz, Kloie Scott, of Rentz, Karlie Scott, of Rentz, Cam Spires, of Dublin, Chance Spires, of Dublin, Averie Spires, of Dublin, Dalton Oxford, of East Dublin, Kyleigh Oxford, of East Dublin, Keaton Oxford, of East Dublin, and Shelby Dixon, of Dublin; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be open to friends and family from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home on August 19, 2019. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Dublin First Church of the Nazarene. Don Hicks and Myron Wise will officiate the service.

The Pallbearers are: Brian Rozar, Dennis Owens, Tim Gay, Michael Couey, Ben Cooper, and Robert Lee.
