Kenneth Young, a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2024, at the age of 80 in Dublin, Georgia.
Born on May 13, 1943, in Greenville, South Carolina; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Benjamin Young and Evelyn Cox Young.
Kenneth was the owner and operator of K & M Paint Contractors for many years. His dedication to his work was evident to all who knew him, as he found great pleasure in bringing color and life to the homes and establishments within his community. Kenneth was also an active member of Christ Chapel, where he served and worshipped with a heart full of grace and humility. Kenneth's life was a testament to his loving nature, passionate spirit, and unwavering faith.
Kenneth's passion for life extended beyond his professional and spiritual endeavors. He was an avid golfer who loved the camaraderie of the game as much as the sport itself. Those who played rounds with him will fondly remember his competitive spirit and the warmth of his company on the green.
As a devout Christian, Kenneth's faith was the cornerstone of his existence. It guided him through every aspect of his life and provided comfort and strength to those around him. His family and friends will always be inspired by the depth of his faith and the way he lived out his beliefs with integrity and kindness.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Carole Young; his children: daughter Andrea and her husband James Ammons, daughter Kimberly and her husband Kenny Inman, son Scott Young, and daughter Tammy and her husband Shane Rogers. He was the proud grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, who will miss him dearly. Kenneth also leaves behind his sister, Hazel Ann and her husband Carroll Osheil, as well as two nephews.
A service to celebrate Kenneth's life will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Christ Chapel with Rev. Gregg Soles officiating.
