Kimberly Grimes Price, a loving and faith-filled woman, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2023, in Dublin, Georgia. Born on February 15, 1987, in Atlanta, Georgia, Kimberly was known for her kindness and dedication to serving others. Her life was a testament to her strong faith, and her commitment to her community was unparalleled.
Kimberly was the beloved wife of Casey Price of Wrightsville and the proud pet parent of Duke Price, their cherished dog. She was the loving daughter of Danny and Suzanne Moore of Dublin, and a dear sister to Leigh-Ann (Jack) Tribble and Gordon (Megan) Moore, both of Dublin. Kimberly was also a cherished daughter-in-law to Bruce Price of Wrightsville, a beloved sister-in-law to Devin (Lisa) Price of Roswell, and a treasured niece to her uncle and aunt, Bubba and Jan East of Dublin. Kimberly was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews: Will Tribble, Kate Tribble, John Gordon Moore, Logan Moore and Carsyn Price, and a beloved cousin to Rob (Rachel) East, Ben (Madison) East, and Matt East, all of Dublin.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Sue East and her mother-in-law, Judy Diane Price.
A bright and dedicated student, Kimberly was salutatorian of the Dublin High School Class of 2005. She continued her education at the University of Georgia, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders in 2009 and she obtained her Master’s Degree in 2011. Her time at the university was marked not only by her academic achievements but also by her active involvement in the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority.
Kimberly's professional journey led her to a fulfilling career as a Speech Pathologist at the Carl Vinson VA Hospital. Her work at the hospital was more than just a job; it was a calling. She found immense joy in working with the veterans, helping them reclaim their voices and regain their confidence. Her dedication to her work was a testament to her compassionate nature and her commitment to serving others.
Kimberly's interests went beyond her professional and community service commitments. She had a special place in her heart for preschool students with special needs. She dedicated her time and resources to ensure these children received the support they needed, reflecting her kind and loving nature.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Kimberly was an active member of Liberty Baptist Church, where she found spiritual nourishment and a sense of community. She was also a dedicated member of the Dublin Junior League, Dublin Girls Cotillion, and Dublin Service League. These associations allowed her to give back to her community and make a positive impact on the lives of those around her.
In all aspects of her life, Kimberly Grimes Price was a beacon of love, kindness, and faith. Her loss is deeply felt by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her life was a testament to the power of dedication, compassion, and community service. She will be remembered fondly and missed greatly.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Dixon officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Rob East, Ben East, Matt East, Justin Garrett, Christopher Sutton, Andy King, Patrick Johnson and Ben Scarborough.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations, in memory of Kimberly, be made to the Kimberly Price Scholarship Fund, which will be used for graduate school tuition for speech therapists attending the University of Georgia. Donations may be made at the Bank of Dudley.
