Larry Wayne Lumley, age 72, of East Dublin, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Leroy Spivey, Rev. Ben Lumley, and Mr. Noah Ward will officiate.
Pallbearers will be James Vallin, Kenneth Smith, Tim Lumley, Dwayne Lumley, Richard Crooms, and Joel Lumley.
Mr. Lumley was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during Vietnam in Aircraft Maintenance. He was retired from the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center and was an electrician and loved hunting and fishing. After retirement, he enjoyed farming and spending time with his grandchildren. Larry was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of the Lighthouse Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev, Ralph L. Lumley, and Annie Mae Lampp Lumley; sisters, Annie Lee Rollins, Dorothy Welch, Elizabeth Pitts, and Faye Lumley Melton, and brother, Tommy Lumley.
Survivors include his wife, Janice J. Lumley, of East Dublin; daughters, Amie Lumley Ward (Chan), of East Dublin, Tina Lumley Lawson (Mitchell), of East Dublin; sons, Jason Kyle Lumley (Brandi), of Vidalia, and Stephen Michael Lumley (Catherine), of Dublin; grandchildren, Noah Channing Ward, Hunter Preston Lawson, Caleb Mitchell Lawson, Alaina Grace Ward, and Colton Evan Lumley; brothers, Ben Lumley (Amanda) and Ralph Lumley, Jr. (Doyce); sisters, Mary Frances Crooms, Christine McTier, Geraldine Smith and Linda Raburn (David); brother-in-law, Ben Welch; sister-in-law, Glenda Lumley; numerous nieces and nephews, and five special foster grandchildren.
