LeMerle B. Miller

LeMerle B. Miller, age 87, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021, at Serenity Place.

Mrs. Miller was born on February 12, 1934, in Dublin, Georgia, to the late Harvey L. Brantley, and the late Esther Louise Gaillard Brantley. LeMerle was a homemaker at heart, who loved cooking and keeping a neat home. She was formerly employed by Bell Telephone, Prylarm, and Allen Bradley. Her faith, the love of family, and her church were very important to her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, George Lenton Miller, and her brothers, Donald Brantley, and Doyle Brantley.

She is survived by children, George Steven Miller (Darleen), of Centerville, Esther Lynn Miller, of Acworth, David Stanley Miller, of Acworth, and Rose Lummert (Wolfgang), of Winder; grandchildren, Hope Kauffman (Jack), Brian Miller, Jeremy Miller, Amy Steck (Jonathan), Crissy Welch (Bill), Dane Earnheart (Sarah), Dustin Earnheart (Tracy), Drew Moss, and Dylan Netherly, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Poplar Springs North Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Rev. Wes Pinkley will officiate

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 31, 2021, at the church.

The Deacons of Poplar Springs North Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers.
