Leila Ann Thigpen

Leila Ann Thigpen, age 75, of Rockledge, passed away on February 15, 2025.

Mrs. Thigpen was a member of Minter Baptist Church. She was an avid sewer. Leila Thigpen was a loving and caring mother and nanny. And she enjoyed going to lunches and shopping with her three best friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dudley Harvey and Doris Brickey; and her son-in-law, David Foster.

She was survived in life by her husband, John “Vic” Thigpen, of Rockledge; son, Victor (Rachel) Thigpen, of Dublin; daughter, Lisa Foster, of Rockledge; grandchildren, Macy (Taylor) Pope, of Dublin; Mackenzie (Cole) Rozar, of Rentz; Miranda Thigpen, of Savannah; and Matthew Thigpen, of Dublin; great-grandchildren, Annie Ruth Pope and John David Pope, of Dublin; brother, Fred (Linda) Harvey, of Dublin; sister, Anna (Jerry) Garner, of Tennille; and a step-sister, Suzanne Blanton of Dublin.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM, at Minter Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation, one hour prior to the services at the cemetery.
