Lillie (Campbell) Reese

Mrs. Lillie Campbell Reese, age 76, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Fairview Park Hospital.

Mrs. Reese was born in Egypt, Georgia, on October 17, 1945, to the late Charlie and Lillian Ruth Campbell. She was a homemaker and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Winifred Reese; siblings, Irene Caneega, Betty Roberts, Ellis Campbell, Hubert Campbell, Louis Campbell, and Alton Campbell.

Survivors include her sons, Winifred “Fred” Reese Jr. (Stephanie) of Wrightsville, and Stacy Reese of Augusta; grandchildren, Amber Wilkes, Ethan Reese (Julie), Shania Reese, Christopher Reese, and Geoffrey Reese; great-grandchildren, Aily Wilkes and Ezra Wilkes; sister, Julia McDaniel (Charles); brother, Carlton Campbell (Betty Lou), and Joyce Curl.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 1, 2022, at Ivey Baptist Church in Johnson County with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Curtis Warnock and Rev. Donnie Baker will officiate. 

The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 AM until the service hour at the church.

Pallbearers will be Ronald Wilkerson, Jed Mowen, Dave Henson, Donnie Roberts, Donnie Young, and Danney Reese.
