Linda Leach McCullars, age 82, of Dublin, GA, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026.
She was born on February 14, 1943, to the late Jack and Mary Wilkes Leach. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles J. McCullars, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and love. Her granddaughter, Susie McCullars, and sister and special caretaker, Jacquelyn Leach King of East Dublin, and her beloved cat, Rat Rat also preceded her in death.
Linda's legacy continues through her loving sons, Jeff McCullars (Melanie) of Soperton and Mark McCullars (Sue) of Dublin. She was a proud and doting granny to her granddaughters, Angel Toler (Waylon) of East Dublin, Crystal Livingston (Jammie) of Dublin, as well as her grandson, Chad McCullars (Megan) of Dublin, and great-granddaughters, Bethany and Jessica Toler of East Dublin. Linda also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, as well as her special caregiver and friend, Sandra Lester, all of whom will miss her deeply.
A graduate of Dublin High School, Linda retired from a fulfilling career at Mohawk Industries, where she was known for her friendly demeanor and strong work ethic. She was also a valued member of the Northside Baptist Church.
Linda's interests were a reflection of her loving and friendly nature. She was an avid NASCAR fan, and her enthusiasm for the sport was infectious. Linda found joy in simple pleasures like working on crossword puzzles, playing bingo, and hunting for treasures at yard sales. She cherished the trips she took with her sister, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
Above all, Linda was a devoted wife, mother, granny, and sister. Her selfless nature was evident in the way she cared for her family and friends. She had a gift for making those around her feel loved and valued, and her presence was a source of comfort and happiness.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM at Northview Cemetery on Saturday, January 24, 2025, with Mr. Dan King, Sr., officiating.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff and nurses of Remarkable Hospice for their devotion, love, and care of their beloved granny.
