Linda Romell (Durden) Smith

Linda Romell Smith, age 75, of Rentz, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021.

Mrs. Smith retired from Meals on Wheels where she faithfully served as the County Director. She was a member of World Harvest Church and loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Hatten Smith, and husband, William “Billy” Smith.

She is survived by her children, Kenny Andrews (Sandra), of Kite, Sissy Savage (Van), of Dublin, Spence Diers (Samantha), of North Carolina, Kevin Diers, of Atlanta, and Melissa Smith, of Rentz; grandchildren, Justin Savage, Ryan Savage, Alex Diers, Kaylyn Smith, Trent Andrews, Jacob  Posey, Zoey Diers, and Eli Diers; great-grandchildren, Si Savage, and  Emmi Ruth Savage; brother, Gaynor Durden (Gaye); sister, Ruth Durden, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Mrs. Smith will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021, at 2:00 PM in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Farris Cox will officiate.
