Lisa Melody Green

Lisa Melody Green, 59, of Casselberry Florida, formerly of Dublin, passed away on Oct 16, 2023, at Orlando Health Hospital in Longwood, Florida.

Lisa was born in Dublin on Oct 27, 1963, to Marvin Lansing Green Jr and Dorothy Baker.

She was the granddaughter of the late M.L. Green, Sr. and Sara Bernice Green of Montrose GA, and Paul F. Baker Sr. of Dublin, and Katherine M. Baxter of Hollywood Florida.

She is preceded in death by her father, Marvin Lansing Green Jr (1977) of Montrose; her mother, Dottie Baker Hobart (1997) of Hollywood Fl; her brother, Nicky Burch (2008) of Dublin, and her stepfather, William R Hobart (2021 ) of Lake Placid, Fl.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Jacobs of Oklahoma; her beloved grandson, Seth Ross of Oklahoma; her daughter, Katherine Kennedy; her sister, Christina Green Anderson (Mark), her nieces and nephews, as well as her uncle and aunt, Kenny and Patsy Baker. She is also survived by her grandnieces and grandnephews and many cousins and extended family.

Lisa spent her childhood in Dublin, attending Dublin High School, before moving to Florida as an adult. She was attending Aviation Institute of Mechanics in Casselberry Florida where she was pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming an airplane mechanic. She hoped to be graduating soon.

There will be a memorial service for Lisa on Saturday, Nov 4, 2023, at 2:00 in the afternoon at First Methodist Church on Gaines Street in Dublin.
