Lucille (Wilkins) Alligood

Lucille Alligood, age 91, of Wrightsville, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.

Mrs. Alligood was born in Laurens County on May 25, 1931, to the late David Lee and Josey Wilkins. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and retired from Forstman & Co. after 35 years of service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stewart Alligood; daughter, Dianne Braswell; grandsons, Charles Hall and Jonah Hall; granddaughter Debbie Braswell Anderson; five brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Gale Hall (Charlie), of Wrightsville; grandchildren: Glen Hall, of Wrightsville, Connie Harrell and Barbara Powell (Brad) both of Dublin, Warren Braswell, Jr., and Kathy Braswell, both of Soperton; great-granddaughters:  Krystal Heuett (Grenville), Victoria and Emily Hall (Wrightsville), Samantha Powell (Dublin), Jossie Mae Amerson (Dublin), Kassie Sellers (Soperton), Ashleigh Wood (Dublin), Zoey Braswell (Soperton), and Brandi Braswell (Dublin); great grandsons: Dalton Anderson (Bluffton, SC), Dustin Harrell (Newnan), Jesse Harrell (Dublin), and Trey Braswell (Soperton); several great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 22, 2022, in the Alligood Cemetery. Rev. Sammy Hall will officiate.
