Lynette Young Wright

Lynette Young Wright, 79, of Dublin, passed away on January 21, 2022. Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022, at 11:00 AM, at New Bethel Church Cemetery. Reverend Ken Rodgers will officiate the services.

She retired from Belk and was a faithful member of New Bethel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Wright; parents, W. B. and Mattie Young; son, Mike “Poochie” Woodard; siblings, Annie Lora Thaxton, Christine Mullis, Vonelle (Ferrell) Morton, Gene (Mary) Young, Ted (Barbara Sue) Young, Carl Young, Quinton Young; great-grandchild, Hayes Michael Woodard; and sister-in-law, Joann Young.

Mrs. Wright is survived in life by her children, Greg (Michele) Woodard, Stan (Melinda) Wright, Brad Wright, Niki (Joey) Wright Mullis; grandchildren, Dusty Woodard, Tyler (Delite) Woodard, Cody (Miranda) Woodard, Hannah (Brian) Wright Tapley, Hayden Wright, Gracie Wright, and Will Mullis; great-grandchildren, Lawson Woodard, Arlee Ryan Woodard, Tristan Howard, Cohen Howard, and Braylie Jean Tapley; and siblings, G.W. Young, Carolyn Sanders, and Elaine (Allen) Mason.

The family wishes that in lieu of flowers donations be made to New Bethel Church or Serenity Hospice.
