Obituary
Margie Ree Giddens Scott, age 80, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023.
Mrs. Scott was born September 25, 1942 to the late George Giddens and the late Maudie Ree Upshaw Giddens in Cadwell, Georgia. She was self-employed and worked as a sitter. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking and crossword puzzles.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Scott is preceded in death by her sister, Betty Warren.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Ronald Scott of Dublin; daughter, Jan Scott (Rodney McDaniel) of East Dublin; grandsons, Eric (Ashley) McDaniel of East Dublin and Aarron Scott (Kelli) McDaniel of Dublin; sisters, Imagene Thomas of Rentz and Maulene (Larry) Graham of East Dublin; brothers, Grafton (Mary Jane) Giddens of Dexter and Waymon (Jan) Giddens of Dublin; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at New Bethel Baptist Church Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a graveside to follow at 11:00AM at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Grady Mimbs will be officiating.
Eric McDaniel, Aarron McDaniel, Jerry Williams, and Andy Graham will serve as pallbearers.
