Maria Bernardita Torres

Maria Bernardita Torres, age 56, of Dublin, passed away peacefully at home on August 7, 2022, with her loving husband, Nilo, by her side.

Mrs. Bernardita Torres who we fondly called Bernie or Bernz, was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church where she volunteered in different ministries which included religious education, music, and prayer ministry. Her deep love of the Lord and our Lady exuded in her personality and spiritual life. She was vibrantly full of joy and humility, always wearing a smile. People were drawn to her for her deep faith, love of God, and relentless strength in the midst of all her suffering. She was loved deeply by the community and will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her father, Felipe Amboy.

Survivors include her loving husband, Nilo Torres of Dublin; mother, Rosario Amboy; brother, Noel Amboy and his wife, Leilani Amboy, and nephew, Raphael Amboy, all of Bacoor City, Cavite, Philippines.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Father John Stephen Ariko and Father Jude Shayo will officiate. Services will be live streamed on the church website.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the church.
