Marlene Sanders Davis

A graveside service for Mrs. Marlene Sanders Davis, age 90, will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Little Bethel Freewill Baptist Church (1275 Rebie Road Chester, GA 31012) at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends following the service. Rev. Russell “Buddy” Horne and Mr. Gene Kirkpatrick will officiate the service.

Mrs. Davis was born in Eastman, Georgia to the late Pratt Sanders, Sr. and the late Dessie Passmore Sanders on November 1, 1933. She was a member of Little Bethel Freewill Baptist Church. She retired from L&H Company after working as a supervisor. She was a loving wife and mother. Mrs. Davis passed away peacefully Sunday, November 5, 2023.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Floyd Davis; sisters, Barbara Freeman and Louise Wilkes; and brothers, Algie Sanders and Lamar Sanders.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Teresa (Tim) Wright of Sylvania; brother, Pratt Sanders, Jr. of Dothan, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.
