Martha Lynette Renfroe

Funeral services for Martha Lynette Thomas Renfroe, age 96, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, September 29, 2023 at the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home with interment to follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Ken Brogden and Rev. Steve Hamrick will officiate.

Mrs. Renfroe was born May 1, 1927 in Dublin, Georgia; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late William Olaf Thomas and Mattie Pearl Radney Thomas, her husband, Loren Chattie Renfroe and a brother, William O. Thomas. She was a member of Centerville Baptist Church and was retired from Southern Bell Telephone Company. In her free time, she loved baking cakes, gardening and spending time with her family. Mrs. Renfroe passed away Tuesday, September, 26, 2023.

She is survived by her two daughters, Lori (Rick) Collett of Dudley and Lynn (Steve) Morton of Glenwood; five grandchildren, Heidi (Michael) Hancock, Cherie (Brad) Rowland, Melissa (Jake) Keen, Stephanie (David) Sumner and Seth Morton; eight great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; a brother, Jimmy (Susie Ann)Thomas and a sister-in-law, Melba Thomas.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be William Becker, Jim Rhodes, Terry Garnto, Kenny Tomlinson, Ennis Ryals and Dennis Darsey.
