Martha Louise Wilkinson

Martha Louise Wilkinson, age 79, of Dublin, passed away on February 20, 2021.

Mrs. Wilkinson was born to the late Mr. James E. Williamson and Rita Mae Williamson. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and she cared for her family, always making sure no one left her home without being fed. She shared the ultimate love story with her late husband, and she helped her husband run the family business and managed the household. Mrs. Wilkinson was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She loved her favorite holiday, Christmas. She had a special companion, a toy poodle, named Carley. She is preceded in death by her parents, James E., and Rita Mae Williamson, husband Charley Theo Wilkinson, son, Ricky Lee Wilkinson, grandson, Ricky Lee Wilkinson Jr., great-granddaughter, Billy Anne Marie Wilkinson. 

She is survived by her children, Donald Ray Wilkinson (Cindy Marie), Charles Ronald Wilkinson (Bonnie Carol), James Douglas Wilkinson all of East Dublin, Erica Purvis (Corey) of Dublin, sister, Dorothy Anne Keene of Dublin. 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Services for Mrs. Wilkinson will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2021, in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Northview Cemetery. Rev. Curtis Warnock and Rev. Matt Haywood will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, due to COVID 19, there will be limited capacity for both service and visitation.

Brandon Wilkinson, Dusty Wilkinson, Kevin Wilkinson, Shawn Wilkinson, Brian Carter, and Brandon Wynn will serve as pallbearers.
